The question of who is next to be fired at Binion's was answered today with
the unfortunate termination of Poker Room Manager and WSOP Tournament
Coordinator Cathi Wood.  I do not know the reason why for the termination,
but the players and employees in Binion's poker room are shocked and very
saddened by this action by Becky Behnen.  Becky (a puppet for husband Nick)
has made yet another mistake (in a series of many) in casino management.
Cathi will no doubt fall into a position elsewhere, as she is loved and
respected by many in the industry and she will ultimately benefit from this
all happening.  It is unfortunate that her time at Binions had to end in
this manner, however.  Additionally, the WSOP will undoubtedly struggle
without Wood's untiring devotion to her job and the tournament.  No
replacement has been named, but that individual will have very big shoes to
fill.
