Ever since I got knocked out of last year's Omaha/8 event, I have been looking forward to playing in the 2001 tourney. I am not playing today, and am sad and disappointed about this. It doesn't feel right for me to play while Paul Phillips and Richard Tatalovich are denied that same right. These two gentlemen are poker enthusiasts and were really looking forward to playing multiple events in the 2001 WSOP. I love the WSOP and have played in several events each year for the past 21 years. Winning a gold bracelet was the proudest accomplishment of my poker career. As publisher of Card Player, it was an honor to be quoted in print media and on many TV documentaries about the excitement and prestige surrounding the WSOP. I often said that one thing that made the WSOP so special was that anyone over 21 who had the buy-in could play. Hopefully, Paul and Richard will be reinstated so that the WSOP can continue to grow and prosper. Linda Johnson
