Shore

Seeing the Crazy Pineapples get delivered alongside the Coronas during
CHORSE

Having 10's full go down to Old Bears' straight flush during CHORSE.

The hardest stud hand I've ever had to play after Kevan's Mom accidentally
exposed her aces on 4th street.

Yolanda pointing out to me that I totally failed the Fundamental Theorem of
poker due to the above.

Skippy/Spitecall showing a possible nut/nut hand after the dealer river'd 3
deuces to scoop the pot in Okladugi

Jepstonian's flopped-set rivering a boat (love 9 river cards) in Reverse
Chowaha to scoop pre-flop 8-way capped pot

Scott running up a huge win on video poker while showing us the fine point

Kyle hitting a Royal on video poker...only to discover he was playing
nickels at the time

Meeting some cool folks at the 4 Queens when Scott and I went for
food...listening to the 'poker pro' explain why playing NLHE sucks because
bad players draw out too much

Yolanda making an overall profit of > 30,000 credits on penny slot machines

Jepstonian telling Skippy to put $5 on 23 on roulette as we walk past. Next

Finally learning craps. Two math heads teach me - must be +EV

Two steals work. Third steal is with AKs into Dan's AQ - yay stats - back to
healthy.

Call Joe's all-in with ATo. DaveT pushes over the top, I look to heavens and
mutter  "ugh" - he hears "call" and shows KK.
The good: dealer and floor right there, confirm I did not call, so I can
fold the not-quite-good ace.
The bad: river ace.
GD SOB FLOOR - ONE TIME I WANT A TERRIBLE RULING AND THEY'RE ALL COMPETENT
AND SH*T!!!

Final-tabling is way better than busting before first break. Decide I'll try
to more of this final-tabling thing.

Thanks to the organizers, the board, Binions, and to everyone else. When I
try to describe BARGE to someone it seems to go to poker explanations - but
it's 2 minute snippets, the belly laughs, the last longers, the CHORSE mob
scene, the 9-card reverse chowaha river....dammit, the stuff that's
impossible to explain but that makes it all worth i (how do you explain the
joy of taking the main pot in a 3-way all-in second-best badugi hand?)

Gotta book my flight to BARGE 2012. :)
