As a result of winning the last longer vs. the DV8's, we had $310 awaiting disposition. In the traditional manner, a unanimous decision was made by those present that the money be reinvested in the change your life slots which promised an $11,000,000+ payoff thereby ensuring we could afford last longers into the next century and beyond. A committee of myself, Timmy, Bingo and Jester descended on the Double Diamond device sometime around 1:30 AM, sacrificing what was sure to be a continued craps win for the sake of our group. We plunged ahead, but discovered that pushing the spin button was nowhere near enough action, whereby we invented "take all of Foldem's singles" - an easy game in which we ponied up $1 each into the tray and whoever next scored any sort of win on the DD won the pot - rebuy! Amidst much merriment & cocktails and despite using most parts or our bodies and some clothing items to push buttons, we were unable to either win the fucking (nods to ND) $11MM or lose the fucking (again to ND) $310. Sometime around 3:30 we were too exhausted to continue so we staggered to a halt with $325 in the kitty. I took possession of the hard earned ticket, vowing to continue the next day, onward to riches or ignominy. Despite my finest efforts, I was completely flummoxed the next day by the damn machine repeatedly giving me little dribs & drabs, but randomly pushing our kitty upward. When I got to $632 I made the executive decision the $30 per was enough to pay for next year's LLs (plus I was totally bored, being by myself). So all members of this year's ADB team will be prepaid for up to 3 last longers for 2011. I hope you guys & gals had a great BARGE and look forward to a few TRIP REPORTS (C'mon please, pretty please...)
