(LOL). =C2=A0=C2=A0 Play a little ring before heading of= f to the LowBall tournament. =C2=A0 I LOVE THIS GAME, I suck at it but I LO= VE THIS GAME!!!.. =C2=A0 Have a great time, busted midway. =C2=A0 Walked Ho= wlerwife back over to the Nugget and came back to Binions to play some ring= . =C2=A0 Got into a very good 3-6 Holdem game. =C2=A0 SIDE NOTE: (I have de= cided I will play one marathon session each Barge and this one was it. =C2= =A0 I bought in about 2000 and proceeded to channel Don Perry for almost 15= hours. =C2=A0 I could not miss, I could not lose, I was in the zone.) The = 3-6 game broke and I found myself in a 4 handed dealers choice game. =C2=A0= Brandon (last name escapes me) a dealer at Binions, myself, and friend of = Brandon=E2=80=99s and a local boy calling himself =E2=80=9CAction Jackson= =E2=80=9D. =C2=A0 Mr Jackson seemed as if he had been drinking a bit and di= d not take too kindly to the three of us taking pots off of him in Oklahoma= . =C2=A0 He got a little mouthy, and threatened us a little but Binions sec= urity staff helped =E2=80=9CAJ=E2=80=9D find his way to the door before any= thing got too out of hand. =C2=A0 The dealers choice game broke about 0800 = and we went to 1-2 NL. Not much to tell after that but I had my best sessio= n of the trip over that=C2=A015 hour period. =C2=A0=20 =C2=A0=20 Day 3 (Thursday)=20 =C2=A0=20 Howlerwife came down to Binions just as I was getting a little something to= eat at the deli. =C2=A0 We ate and then we headed off to the CHORSE tourna= ment. =C2=A0 Nothing to say about CHROSE except this: I can=E2=80=99t remem= ber the last time I cashed in this tournament. Wife and I went to get somet= hing to eat for dinner and I then decided (with wife=E2=80=99s help) that g= etting a couple of hours of sleep might be more useful. =C2=A0 Went up to t= he room, tossed a turned for an hour and a half and then went back to Binio= ns for the Stud Shootout tournament. =C2=A0 Played pretty well but ran into= a better full house made by one of our Colorado virgin Bargers, Serrina Mo= nnin, who also happens to by my Program Manger. =C2=A0 She is a very good p= layer and I think she took 4 th or 5 th in the shootout. =C2=A0 Way to go S= errina!!! =C2=A0 Little more ring, little more VP then finally some sleep.= =20 =C2=A0=20 Day 4 (Friday)=20 =C2=A0=20 Up bright and early for the 1000 TOC. =C2=A0 I love this tournament and REA= LLY want to win it someday. =C2=A0 Played well, got lucky when I needed to = and had all of my good hands hold up. =C2=A0 I busted 11 th when a dry Ace = ran into a wet Ace. =C2=A0 This was probably the best I have played in this= tournament for a while so hoping to build on that next year. =C2=A0 My sis= ter and her husband came of from Kingman, AZ to see us so we hung out with = them after I busted and headed to bed around midnight.=20 =C2=A0=20 Day 5 (Saturday)=20 =C2=A0=20 Was the third or fourth to bust in the NL. =C2=A0 Justifying it by saying = =E2=80=9CI would rather bust early than play for 6 hours and not get paid= =E2=80=9D. =C2=A0 Truth is my head wasn=E2=80=99t in it and I was at a very= tough table (although I can=E2=80=99t think of a table at Barge that isn= =E2=80=99t tough). =C2=A0 Scottro and I went over to the Nugget and ended u= p having a mini-scotch tasting. =C2=A0 The 12 year old McClelland was the b= est. =C2=A0 Congrats to one of our Colorado Bargers, Brenda Mowrey who I th= ink finished 2 nd . =C2=A0 Howlerwife played for a few hours in the SO tour= ney and did well. =C2=A0 I think I have her talked into playing the big one= with us next year so watch out folks. =C2=A0 Banquet was great. =C2=A0 I v= ery much enjoyed Doyle and Nolan=E2=80=99s interview. =C2=A0 I liked the fo= rmat and was very impressed with how approachable Doyle is. =C2=A0 Thanks t= o the organizers and Nolan for scoring a great speaker for us. =C2=A0 Was o= nly able to play about 45 minutes in the Reindeer Games but I was playing R= azz so I got to play about 5 hands and showed a $40 profit.=20 =C2=A0=20 Day 6 (Sunday)=20 =C2=A0=20 Checkout of the Nugget and headed home.=20 =C2=A0=20 Thoughts and thanks for Barge 2009=20 =E2=80=A2 Too much to do, not enough time to do it all=20 =E2=80=A2 Peter has to be the most dedicated individual I have ever see= n. =C2=A0 To go through what he went through this Barge and still smile eve= ry time I saw him: AWESOME! (Thanks to Patti for taking care of the big guy= )=20 =E2=80=A2 The organizers continue to out do themselves every year. =C2= =A0 Thanks Nick, Mick, Peter and Chuck=20 =E2=80=A2 Thanks Sharon for working the ADB Jersey=E2=80=99s. =C2=A0 Th= ey are great!=20 =E2=80=A2 Binions having Fosters as a choice for the beer footballs: pr= iceless!!=20 =E2=80=A2 For those I saw but didn=E2=80=99t mention, please forgive my= memory. =C2=A0 I enjoyed everyone=E2=80=99s company and met some new frien= ds as well.=20 =E2=80=A2 Maybe someday we Colorado folks will learn how to win CHORSE.= .=20 =E2=80=A2 Just for future reference to everyone. =C2=A0 We enjoy everyo= ne=E2=80=99s company and friendship. =C2=A0 We do not hold anyone above any= one else. =C2=A0 We know there are three sides to every story Side A, Side = B and then, somewhere in the middle is the truth. That=E2=80=99s all I=E2= =80=99ve got to say about that.=20 =E2=80=A2 Take Care everyone and have a great and prosperous year!!=20
