Subject: mph's BARGE 2006 TR

I was only able to spend Fri->Sunday at BARGE this year.  Saddenz.  But it
was a blast to see a bunch of really cool people and have a blast gambling.

Thank you to Chuck and Peter for doing another wonderful job.  Thank you to
the Venetian poker staff to running a nice room.

My airport bad beat "rant".  On the way back home I get to the airport early
and another flight which isn't full is leaving.  I ask if I can get on.
Given its southwest there shouldn't be any change is seat value.  Nah.
Gonna have to charge me an upgrade fee.  I guess if there is no chance my
original flight will fill they are better off seeing if they can get me to
pay 50% not to wait 90 minutes.  But the probability of that is
indistinguisable from 0.  I hope they are overbooked on the next flight.

As is normal I managed to get myself stuck early and end up posting a nice
profit.  I was reasonable happy with my ring game performance.  I suck
tunamints.

I don't remember any  really interesting.  I managed to run a nut straight
against what I think was a flush draw/super straight draw and scoop 3
times.  That was pretty sick Sable.  I played a fairly large pot with
Terrance and Chaz.  On the turn I had the broadway (nuts), nut flush draw,
3rd set against Terrances broadway w/top and bottom, and Chaz's nut
straight/4th set.  We ran thrice and I got 1 and split the others.  PLO
normal.

I talked to many of you and enjoyed every minute of it.  If you are in Tahoe
drop a note and lets play some cards.
