As a virgin, I just want to say thanks to every person who made my=20 first time so easy and so much fun. (Wow, that sounds bad) I was=20 really impressed to find out that BARGErs are really a great group of=20 people. And of course the poker was incredible. Thank you specifically to Foldem and Chuck for making it all happen=20 =96especially in the face of multiple problems. Oh, and for finding my=20= credit card when I got drunk and lost it. I have to admit that beforehand I wasn=92t quite sure what I had gotten=20= myself into agreeing (suggesting?!?) to combine our two year wedding=20 anniversary with BARGE. But I have no regrets. It was a lot fun! To brag about my WONDERFUL husband=85 Weeks in advance, before anyone=20 knew that BARGE was being moved to the Venetian, he had planned to=20 surprise me by having us stay at the Venetian in one the suites in the=20= new very fancy tower (Venezia) after BARGE for a few days around our=20 anniversary (Monday the 21st). Imagine his surprise when BARGE was=20 moved there! Fortunately during BARGE I had already decided I really=20 liked it. We had a great time. I won=92t share any details. But I=20 really do have the most wonderful husband in the world! Here are a few highlights from my virgin trip (not in any particular=20 order). Placing 6th in the TOC. This was undoubtedly due to my high level of=20 confidence. I was shocked each time I had survived a round. What was=20= going on? This wasn=92t normal. Crippling Gavin Smith (flush with A7 diamonds vs. Q10 diamonds) and=20 then busting him (66 vs. A6) in the NL Hold =91em Tournament. And=20 winning two bounties! Hearing James yell =93Whoo Hoo!=94 each time I advanced in the later = stages=20 of the TOC. Attending Ploink and Amy=92s Wedding. Who would have thought a Karaoke=20= Wedding could be so sweet. Dirty dancing with that cute, but very drunk guy at the Karaoke Wedding. Feeling very welcomed to BARGE and being hugely entertained at my first=20= table of the TOC, my first BARGE event. Thanks Dave, Doug, Mitch (and=20 later Lenny of course!). Busting one of the best female players in poker, Sabyl Cohen, in the=20 TOC (AK vs. KJ). Singing our song, =93Could I Have this Dance=94, with my wonderful = husband. Drunk singing =93Take me Home Country Roads=94 with fellow Mountaineer, = Tim=20 Showalter later that night. I have to include it... The spanking. Having Patrick Milligan practically drag James back to the hotel in the=20= early morning hours of the Karaoke Wedding. Thanks for being a boy=20 scout Patrick! Having too much fun at Chowaha and Half-Indian Chowaha (otherwise known=20= as Chawhaha) with crazy BARGErs and the tourist who was taking our=20 money! (Did I hear correctly that Lunchbox snorted chili flakes later=20= that night?!) Watching Bob collect all the =93cards=94 as we walked down the strip. =20= Collect them all and win! Meeting a ton of nice folks! Hope to see you next year. --Leslie
